Who’s the father of Jodie Foster’s kids?

Sunday night when Jodie Foster accepted her Cecille B. DeMille award at the Golden Globes, she sat next to Mel Gibson, and said something very sweet and personal to him during her moving speech: “You know, you save me, too.”
Jodie Foster had been a close friend of Mel Gibson’s, publicly sticking by him during some of his toughest times, including when his ex Oksana Grigorieva accused him of abuse, and released tapes of Gibson raging.

The New York Post is speculating that there’s a big reason why Jodie Foster is so close to Mel Gibson: he could be the father of her two kids. The Post has an amateur genealogist speculating that Fosters two boys Charles (14,) and Kit (12) look like Gibson, which means nothing.

Another paternity possibility is Randy Stone, a gay casting-director friend of Foster who passed away in 2007. Randy Stone’s mother Beverly Bates told The Daily Mail that Jodie is going to tell her boys who their father is when they turn 21, but she believes her son is the father because he had to sign some very secret documents.

Regardless of whether or not Mel Gibson donated sperm, Jodie has an intense love for her longtime friend. She recently said of him: “He’s so incredibly loving and sensitive. I knew the minute I met him that I would love him the rest of my life.”

They met in 1994 on the set of Maverick, and Jodie’s first child was born in 1998.
