Is former Cosby Show actress Keisha Knight Pulliam part of Real Housewives of Atlanta season 5? Rumors have been swirling since earlier this year that Keisha would join NeNe, Cynthia, Phaedra, Kandi, Kim, and Kenya Moore in the next installment, and yesterday our friend Straight from the A , who’s usually right about RHOA casting stuff, posted that it was true! However, it looks as though the rumors are wrong, because Keisha is denying it.
Keisha tweeted, “I am NOT joining the cast of RHOA this season… Next season or any season. I honestly don’t know where this rumor is coming from!! Pls RT”
Back in January, Media Takeout had first claimed that she would be joining show to which she quickly responded, “Guys, you can’t believe EVERYTHING you read! I am NOT going to be on Real Housewives of Atlanta!!! There is absolutely no truth to this rumor … I have no idea how it started.”
At the time of the first rumor, filming hadn’t yet began so it was quickly dismissed. Now that Straight From The A has seen her filming with the other cast members (who she is friends with) the rumors seemed more accurate. Could Keisha just be denying her involvement because Bravo hasn’t yet named the cast? As we all know, new cast members are not allowed to reveal anything about the show until it airs.
If Keisha is saying “no,” we have to believe her. Plus, if she was just trying to be secretive, wouldn’t she just ignore the claims? We can’t help but be a little disappointed though, we were looking forward to this!
