I’ve gotten rather used to Katy Perry’s numerous makeovers and different looks, but when I saw her photo on the cover of the upcoming March issue of Interview magazine I literally did a triple take! Though her looks do often vary, they’re usually bright, colorful, and fun – but this look is downright sinister, sultry, and sexy!

I’m still having issues believing that’s her on the cover! I recognize the boobs but that’s about all 🙂 Kudos to stylist Karl Templer on an amazing transformation! I can’t wait to see more photos from the shoot when the issue comes out.
Could this be another sign that we should prepare for a new, darker Katy Perry since her split from husband Russell Brand? That seems to jibe with Katy’s completely unconfectionary and – dare I say – badass performance of the revamped “Part Of Me” at the 2012 Grammy Awards:
