In what could very well be the cover story of Ho Hum magazine, Page Six is reporting that American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert will officially come out of the closet on the cover of next month’s Rolling Stone. A source tells Page Six, “He didn’t want it to be an issue during the contest, but he’s fine with his sexuality.”
There was a good deal of speculation over the sexual orientation of the singer during his first few appearances on this season of America Idol, but the “controversy” soon dissipated into a mild annoyance as photos of the flamboyant Lambert began to surface. He’s even began to lose favor in the eyes of gay rights advocates like Perez Hilton, who has started referring to Glambert as Adam Lamebert.
I realize that a flamingly gay celebrity opening the door to his glass closet isn’t much of a story, but I needed a reason to share this image:
