It’s been clear to viewers and Kody Brown’s three estranged wives for years that Robyn is the love of his life, and that’s why he’s spent more time with her. In the past few years she has monopolized all of his time, but he was also sharing more time with her when the Brown family lived together in Las Vegas.
Sister Wives can be a bit frustrating because the show is so far behind that viewers know a lot more about the lives of the family than they do when we’re watching them. We’ve seen their futures, and their pasts before they have. Since things went off the rails in Season 15, though, once they catch up, it can have disastrous consequences.
A huge reason why Kody and Janelle had that huge fight in Season 18, Episode 3 is because they’ve witnessed themselves saying things about themselves that they don’t like. We can get an idea of what they’ve been able to see by some of the things they reference, like Kody calling Janelle “the Teflon Queen.”
Kody Brown was in a contentious situation with Janelle Brown and her sons for Christmas 2021 (which featured on Season 18 of Sister Wives. Still, he had no known contact with his 17-year-old daughter Savannah, his daughter with Janelle.
Kody didn’t even send Christmas presents home with her other siblings, who went to his house over Christmas but stayed with her at a holiday rental.
During Episode 4 of Season 18 of Sister Wives Kody Brown explained that while he “courted” both Meri and Robyn before he married them, Christine and Janelle were the ones who asked to be in the plural family. Because of this, he says these two now ex-wives had “special requirements” from him. In a social media post, Christine took a dig at Kody’s special requirements.
In Season 18, Episode 4 of Sister Wives (titled “A Deal With the Devil,”) Kody Brown opened up about some disturbing thoughts he’s having, and viewers of the show are worried. Even his friend Nathan is worried about any of the wives that would remain with Kody.
Apparently, “sacred loneliness” isn’t just another term Kody has made up on the fly.
Sacred Loneliness is the title of a 1997 book by Todd Compton about Mormonism Joseph Smith’s 33 wives and the troubled lives they led.
In a new clip from tonight’s episode of Sister Wives, Meri Brown makes the shocking claim that she believes Kody regrets marrying both her and Christine.
