Although he created the series, Frank Darabont is one of the few people who doesn’t actually watch The Walking Dead. His reason: “If the woman you loved with all your heart left you for the Pilates instructor and just sent you an invitation to the wedding, would you go?”

Most everyone was anticipating a huge premiere for last night’s Season 4 premiere of AMC’s popular zombie drama The Walking Dead, but I don’t think any one anticipated it to be this huge! The Nielsen ratings are in and The Walking Dead Season 4 premiere shattered previous records with 16.1 million viewers tuned in for the 9/8c airing! And remember, that doesn’t even include those folks that recorded it to watch later — those viewers are expected to bring the grand total to well over 20 MILLION!!! Keep reading for the full press release that also includes some rather staggering statistics on how many tweets and Facebook posts were made about the show during the airing.

AMC’s original series The Walking Dead continued its incredible success with HUGE ratings (12.3 million viewers!) for the premiere of the second half of Season 3 last month, and this weekend the show was given the honor of kicking off PaleyFest 2013 with a red carpet event and panel discussion. The event was attended by six cast members and four Executive Producers from the show and was moderated by Talking Dead host Chris Hardwick. We’ve compiled a few of the highlights from the panel discussion as well as photos from the
red black carpet, which we have put side-by-side with AMC’s promotional photos for The Walking Dead Season 3 so you can see just how well they clean up! Well, except perhaps for Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Daryl (Norman Reedus).

The vagabond crew of The Walking Dead are barely hanging on in the prison as the ever-present walkers and The Governor are bearing down on them. In last night’s episode entitled “I Ain’t a Judas” the closing scene of desperation was beautifully set as Beth Greene, played by Emily Kinney, broke out in solemn song. Find out what the song is and see the official music video from the legendary artist who recorded it. Just to say I did it – Warning SPOILERS!
Count me in as one of the millions of fans of the hit show The Walking Dead. While I get pretty passionate about Officer Rick Grimes and the gang I do not take it as seriously as 26-year-old Jared Gurman from Williston Park, New York does. No where even close apparently. Find out how an argument about the show ended up with Gurman’s girlfriend being shot in the back, find out her current condition and what Gurman is now claiming happened.
I have to confess that I am a HUGE fan of The Walking Dead, and I also confess to having crushes on a number of the female cast members. BUT, my attraction usually ends once they die. (I won’t openly grieve to prevent spoilers for those who aren’t caught up.) Apparently the same can’t be said for all fans of the show because there is now an official The Walking Dead zombie bikini calendar! Keep reading for some sample photos of these drop-dead zombieautiful ladies as well as a behind-the-scenes video of how it was made.
