The Voice coach Adam Levine shocked the world this week when he revealed he had joined Team Shakira by bleaching his hair blond. The two lighter-locked singers looked like brother and sister on the Top 8 episodes this week — Adam with his shorter, Pinkesque ‘do and Shakira rocking a side braid (photo above). But, the similarities had us wondering what the duo might look like if they swapped out blond for blonde hairstyles, and the results were kind of damned amazing!
Perhaps in honor of “May the Fourth Be With You,” The Voice‘s Adam Levine has left the dark side and dyed his hair blond! He responded to commenters calling the new look creepy by tweeting, “I hope people understand that when they say my hair looks creepy I take that as the highest compliment.”
Too far? Blake Shelton pushed his rivalry with frenemy Adam Levine to the limit on last night’s episode of The Voice by tweeting out the Maroon 5 singer’s personal cell phone number. Adam played it impressively cool, but warned Blake there will be retaliation.
No Doubt lead singer Gwen Stefani will reportedly join Pharrell as one of the coaches on season 7 of The Voice. TMZ says Stefani was approached by NBC after Christina Aguilera revealed she was pregnant back in February and informed the network she would not be able to make her planned return in June.
After working as a mentor for Usher’s team, Pharrell Williams is getting promoted to a coach position for the seventh season of The Voice. He will replace CeeLo Green, who announced his permanent departure from the singing competition in February.
After four seasons in the red spinning chair, original coach CeeLo Green is apparently a little too dizzy to go on with The Voice. He revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that he won’t return to the show — but already has a few promising projects in the cue.
Blake Shelton is one of the biggest country music stars on the planet right now. With hits left and right, his celebrated marriage to fellow superstar Miranda Lambert and his popular run as a coach on The Voice, it’s pretty darn clear the world can’t get enough BS (see what I did there). Just like 99% of those who are fortunate enough to be where he is, Blake started on the bottom — just a kid from Oklahoma with a 6 string, a dream and Weird Al’s haircut apparently! In some gloriously vintage video recently found and released by KFOR, fans can get a look at Blake before he hit it big. Check out some #ThrowbackThursday tastiness as Blake shows us the reason God made Oklahoma barbershops.
