Though Teen Mom 3 reportedly won’t be premiering until August, that hasn’t stopped one of the show’s stars, Katie Yeager, from getting some small screen time! This time last year, commercials featuring a pregnant cheerleader named Mackenzie Douthit were all over MTV, promoting the fourth season of 16 & Pregnant. The first episode of the season followed Mackenzie and her adrenaline loving boyfriend Josh McKee as they welcomed son Gannon. Her story was such a hit that MTV chose her as one of four girls to star in the upcoming series Teen Mom 3. Unfortunately, after months of planning a move to southern California and an April wedding, Mackenzie and Josh have called it quits.

The fourth season of 16 and Pregnant featured Mackenzie Douthit, a cheerleader from rural Oklahoma, as she carried, delivered and began raising her son, Gannon. What the show didn’t mention was that the pregnancy was actually Douthit’s second. Tragically, she had a late-term miscarriage just before getting pregnant with Gannon.

Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie Douthit is headed to the altar! Mackenzie took to Twitter Monday night and shared the above photo of her new engagement ring along with the tweet, “I said yes.” But getting married isn’t the only major life changing event on Mackenzie and Josh’s horizon because the two are apparently packing their bags and moving to San Diego! Future Teen Mom 3 star Alex Sekella shared some startling news with her Twitter fans just a moment ago by tweeting that her daughter Arabella’s father Matthew McCann had been involved in an accident and is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. We talked with Alex and she revealed to us some of what little details she knows about the accident, which apparently occurred while Matt was partying with friends and walked off a 20 foot cliff.

A few weeks ago MTV finally confirmed the cast of Teen Mom 3, which includes all-American Mackenzie Douthit from Oklahoma, Brianna DeJesus and her charismatic family from Florida, outside-voiced Alex Sekella from Pennsylvania, and the nerdy, wordy and mighty perty Katie Yeager of Wyoming.
