A whole new generation is going to be reviving the old slogan “I want my MTV!” as DirecTV is set to cancel the popular network along with 25 other Viacom channels tonight at midnight if the two companies can’t work out an agreement – soon! In one of South Park’s most ambitious lampoonings they went after Scientology full bore in the 2005 episode, “Trapped in the Closet.” This gem exposed some of the considered bizarre teachings of the upper-level members of the religion and it apparently did not go unnoticed by the Scientology brass. Read from a memo revealed by defected member Marty Rathbun that allegedly exposes Scientology’s “Office of Special Affairs” probe into finding any “vulnerabilities” they might use against Parker and Stone.

Looks like the lampooning co-creators of South Park Trey Parker and Matt Stone are at it again, this time headed for Broadway with a show called “The Book of Mormon”. Uh-Oh, this could get ugly folks.
Last night’s epsiode of South Park was a doozy. “You Have “0″ Friends” went after the Social Networking phenomenon with the usual Matt Stone and Trey Parker zest. It was the ususal plot setup as we find Kyle and Cartman loving their Facebook friends and tending virtual farms as our guy Stan wants to have nothing to do with it. Stan gets dragged into the world even though he argues “we should be outside playing video games” when he is surprised with a Facebook page that Kyle and Cartman set up for him.
So much for “politically correct!” The season Premiere of South Park last night featured the boys playing EA Sports’ “Tiger Woods PGA Tour ’11″ for Xbox. WARNING: Contains a lot of crudely animated domestic violence, minor cursing and a whole lot of hilarity!
