Total Recall (remember that remake?) had its London Premiere today and actress Rebecca Ferdinando showed up in a rather unfortunate little black dress that looked like it had been hastily repaired after a tiger attack – and not in a good way. Project Runway is only two episodes into its tenth season and already the show seems to have a frontrunner in Guyanna-born designer Vengsarkar “Ven” Budhu who has wowed judges with his flawlessly executed, complex but seemingly effortless designs. Ven mentioned in last night’s episode that he graduated from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and received a number of awards while in attendance there, so I did a little research and found a photo of the evening gown that won him the institution’s highest award of Designer of the Year in 2006! Tonight is the Season 10 premiere of Project Runway, and in honor of that historic milestone I thought I would share this amazing (and also historic!) video clip of Heidi Klum competing in a modeling competition on German television when she was only 18. It’s auf Wieder-insane!
