Love & Hip-Hop‘s Amina Buddafly confirmed she’s expecting Peter Gunz’s baby in a very dramatic fashion on the reunion special: She broke the news to Peter and their co-stars by tossing a pregnancy test on his lap. The test was positive, but the same can’t be said about Peter’s reaction…

If I’ve learned anything from five years of blogging about pop culture and the off-screen shenanigans of reality show stars it’s that if you’re ever in a bar in New Jersey and you recognize someone from a reality show then you need to get out quick because somebody’s about to get hurt and/or arrested! Such was the case in the AM hours Sunday morning at the Spirit Lounge in Edgewater, New Jersey where a bloody brawl led to the arrest of Chrissy & Mr. Jones star Christine “Chrissy” Lampkin.
Love & Hip Hop 4 star Peter Gunz appeared on the “Sway In The Morning” radio show just after the season premiere and in the lengthy interview Peter was pretty damn straight forward in addressing viewers and fans who criticized him for allowing his cheating on Tara Wallace (the mother of his two children) with his client (and Tara’s co-star) Amina Buddafly to be aired on television. Peter basically said he needed the money and Tara was going to find whether they taped it or not, so why not? Or in his words, “Sh!t was gonna blow up anyway, so I figured I might as well get paid.” Keep reading to watch the entire candid interview and read a transcript of a huge chunk of it.
The original Love & Hip Hop kicks off Season 4 on VH1 tonight and viewers may be in for quite a shock because the network has completely overhauled the cast. Gone are Winter Ramos, Consequence, Raqi Thunda, Jen the Pen, Rashidah Ali, Lore’l and Olivia. Replacing them will be new Love & Hip Hop NY cast members Amina Buddafly, Tara Wallace, Erica Jean, Nya Lee, Peter Gunz and former Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star K. Michelle. Keep reading for photos, bios, and social media links for all the new L&HHNY cast members so you can hit the ground running this season!
Undoubtedly new Love & Hip Hop NY star Winter Ramos has led an exciting life behind the scenes in the hip hop music world (so exciting that she has written a tell-all book due out in April!), and of course that “exciting” life would have to include at least one arrest, right? Right!
After a brief appearance in Love & Hip Hop Season 2, behind-the-scenes hip hop industry maven Winter Ramos returns for the popular reality show’s third season with new stories, new drama, and a new tell-all book! Titled Game Over: My Love For Hip Hop, the book details Winter’s experiences in the music industry, including hook ups, abuse, and the “cray beyond the videos, private flights, and limos that the cameras caught for us.” Keep reading for a full description of the book, a link to rpeorder your copy, and a video clip in which Winter describes her memoir to co-star Jen Baylor!
If you want to stand out at a Love & Hip Hop Premiere party then you’ve got to being it! And damn did Erica Mena bring it last night in New York City as the ladies turned out for the Season 3 kick off bash at Kiss & Fly! Plus, Erica’s hunky beau Rich Dollaz confirms that the two are serious. Real serious. ENGAGED serious!
You ain’t gotta be a fortune teller to know that one of the major plot lines for season 3 of Love and Hip Hop will be the tumultuous relationship between rapper Joe Budden and model Tahiry Jose. Joe and Tahiry have had several public Twitter wars but the most fascinating one became a Twitter-triangle when New York Knicks baller J.R. Smith got involved. Smith posted a photo of Jose’s legendarily rotund rear, making a joke about how it was getting in the way of him watching a Louisville game his brother was playing in. Read on for a censored version of the deleted pic and the subsequent fallout including a fine from the NBA.
