According to a recent report, things were so heated at Today that former host Ann Curry wasn’t even allowed to publicly comfort ailing Robin Roberts. Since Ann’s unpopular dismissal, Today has been floundering while Good Morning America has taken over the top spot in the all-important morning ratings wars.

Just 5 months after undergoing a bone marrow transplant, Robin Roberts is back on TV this morning with Good Morning America. The popular host is in the process of recovering from MDS, a blood and bone marrow disease. She sported cropped hair and looked slightly frail from her battles but displayed the glowing smile and enthusiasm that has endured her to so many fans.

Robin Roberts revealed to the public her battle with a blood and bone marrow disease MDS caused by her successful breast treatment five years ago. She’s undergoing pre-treatments for a future bone marrow transfusion, but she’s not giving up her stylish sleeveless dresses! Robin gets the armband that covers up her chemotherapy pic styled to match the pretty dresses she wears to host Good Morning America.

For my money, the very best morning news host, Robin Roberts, of Good Morning America has revealed that she’s been diagnosed with MDS or myelodysplastic syndrome. This is a medical problem that came about from her breast cancer treatment she received approximately 5 years ago. The candid Roberts posted a statement explaining what has happened to her and why she fully intends on beating MDS, a disease of the blood and bone marrow that was once called pre-leukemia.
