After it was announced her spin-off series Don’t Be Tardy… had been picked up for a second season, Kim Zolciak said farewell to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, leaving her former bestie turned nemesis NeNe Leakes as the only remaining original cast member. Though Kim made a brief appearance on the Season 5 Reunion, it was assumed she was gone from the show for good. Ah, but hold on to your wig because we may not have seen the last of KZ on the RH of the ATL!

Kim Zolciak may have quit Real Housewives, but she hasn’t quit reality drama. On Kim Zolciak’s Bravo show Don’t Be Tardy Kim faces some serious issues with her own mother Karen Zolciak.
The latest shot in the “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party” war has been fired as Kim Zolciak files legal documents asking the court to drop Kandi Burruss’ lawsuit against her. Kim is claiming Kandi filed the lawsuit as a way to draw publicity for her new spin-off show, The Kandi Factory, which premiered on Bravo on April 9th. (Of course, if it is a publicity stunt, then Kim stands to gain as well because her spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy…, has its season premiere tonight — just before The Kandi Factory.)
Kim Zolciak and her husband Kroy have been married for a year and a half now and have two sons of their own — Kroy Jagger and Kash Kade. Kim also has two daughters from previous relationships. Although Brielle and Ariana’s fathers have been out of the picture for a while now, they are still legally theirs but soon, Kroy hopes to take over as the girls’ father.
It seems that the recent disputes between The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast mates Kandi Burruss and Kim Zolciak, which included a feud over who first thought of the baby name Kash, has motivated Kandi to unbury the hatchet on a previous issue between the two. The 36-year-old singer/songwriter filed a lawsuit against Kim yesterday in Atlanta claiming she was not properly compensated for her work on Kim’s single “Tardy For The Party!” And she’s hired Phaedra Parks to represent her!
Kim Zolciak has had one heck of a week. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star officially announced that she will not be returning to the show following the upcoming December 2nd episode. After her announcement, rumors swirled that she had been fired, but then, it was announced that Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding would be returning to Bravo as a full time spin-off with a different name.
