Everyone is devastated by the slaying of 26 innocent children and teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary last week. In the face of such senseless violence, it’s easy to get pulled into a darkness.

Journalist Ann Curry has proposed a way to someone turn this unimaginably horrible situation into an inspiration for good. She asks everyone to consider doing an act of kindness, big or small, for every life lost inside of Sandy Hook Elementary last Friday.

Yesterday 20 children and seven adults lost their lives yesterday after 20-year-old Adam Lanza shot his mother Nancy in the face and then went to Sandy Hook Elementary School, where she worked, and opened fire in a classroom of children.
