In an attempt to combine the masculine appeal of robots and sports, Disney offers Real Steel – a film about a future when only robots and their builders/controllers are allowed to box!

The movie isn’t due to be released in theaters until October 7, 2011 but there is already a trailer with lots of over-life-sized Rock ‘em Sock ‘em robot brutality as well as Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, “a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring.” Boo yeah!
