In the new book Teen Mom Confidential, Stormie Clark writes a lengthy, heartfelt letter to her granddaughter Sophia detailing the life of Sophia’s deceased father Derek Underwood and his relationship with Sophia’s mother, Farrah Abraham. One of the story lines that has continued throughout Farrah Abraham’s run on Teen Mom is the stormy, or better said non-existent, relationship with Derek Underwood’s mother, Stormie Clark. Next week marks the three year anniversary of the tragic death of Derek Underwood, the father of Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham’s daughter Sophia, who turns three in February. Derek’s mother Stormie Clark has put together a Christmas themed video tribute to her son featuring numerous photos of Derek from when he was a little boy until just before his car accident on December 28, 2008.

We mentioned in our Teen Mom Season 3 preview that a large part of Farrah Abraham’s story line this season would involve her legal battle with Derek Underwood’s mother, Stormie Clark. That certainly seems to be the case after viewing this preview clip from next week’s episode in which Farrah visits her therapist Dina to talk about the stress she was feeling over Stormie Clark’s threats to get a lawyer and seek visitation rights for her granddaughter Sophia.

Clark has been battling Sophia’s mother Farrah Abraham for visitation rights but so far has been unsuccessful. The chance encounter at the park is the only time Stormie Clark, mother of Sophia’s deceased father Derek Underwood, has ever had any contact with her granddaughter.

Also, Farrah addresses claims made in the most recent issue of OK! that she is a neglectful mother!
