For the first time in a long time fans of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom franchises are having to go a long time without new episodes. Though Teen Mom 3 reportedly finished filming months ago, it appears that MTV is going back to having nearly a one-year delay between taping and airing as the latest reports are that the new installment won’t premiere until August. So, to help fill the gap, here are some videos and photos of Katie, Briana, Alex and Mackenzie from New York City this weekend, where they were taping aftershow interviews with Maci Bookout — and having a damn good time!

This time last year, commercials featuring a pregnant cheerleader named Mackenzie Douthit were all over MTV, promoting the fourth season of 16 & Pregnant. The first episode of the season followed Mackenzie and her adrenaline loving boyfriend Josh McKee as they welcomed son Gannon. Her story was such a hit that MTV chose her as one of four girls to star in the upcoming series Teen Mom 3. Unfortunately, after months of planning a move to southern California and an April wedding, Mackenzie and Josh have called it quits.

The fourth season of 16 and Pregnant featured Mackenzie Douthit, a cheerleader from rural Oklahoma, as she carried, delivered and began raising her son, Gannon. What the show didn’t mention was that the pregnancy was actually Douthit’s second. Tragically, she had a late-term miscarriage just before getting pregnant with Gannon.

Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie Douthit is headed to the altar! Mackenzie took to Twitter Monday night and shared the above photo of her new engagement ring along with the tweet, “I said yes.” But getting married isn’t the only major life changing event on Mackenzie and Josh’s horizon because the two are apparently packing their bags and moving to San Diego! The cast of Teen Mom 3 has finally been confirmed. Earlier this year, MTV announced that four girls from the fourth season of 16 & Pregnant would be chosen for the all new series and while many reports and incriminating photos have surfaced since then, we finally know for sure which of the girl’s lives we will be following.

Mackenzie Douthit and her boyfriend Josh McKee seemed to be the perfect All-American when they appeared on the fourth season of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant . Sure, they sometimes bickered over Josh’s sport of choice (bull riding), but they seemed to have everything together otherwise and even became engaged months later. Now, a year later, things seem to have taken a turn for the worse.

Although MTV has yet to announce the cast of the upcoming Teen Mom 3, we have a pretty good guess on which four of the 16 & Pregnant girls have been chosen. As we’ve previously reported, the cast looks to include Mackenzie Douthit, Katie Yeager, Alexandria Sekella, and Briana Dejesus, all four of which have been dropping hints that they will be meeting up again soon! It appears that we have half of the cast of the upcoming third installment of MTV’s Teen Mom franchise! An MTV source has confirmed with Radar Online that Alexandria Sekella and Mackenzie Douthit will be two of the girls featured on Teen Mom 3.
