Lady Gaga and Donatella Versace looked like they could be sisters during last night’s Academy Award celebrations. The platinum blondes were chummy during Elton John’s party and Vanity Fair’s gala…

If Lady Gaga looks uncomfortable in this picture, it’s probably because she selected the least sensible outfit to wear in subfreezing New York City weather.
Lady Gaga was in Las Vegas this weekend where she paid a visit to Britney Spears’ “Piece of Me” show! Keep reading for a photo of the two pop goddesses backstage and watch video clips of their exchanges during Britney’s performance.
Lady Gaga continues her ode to visual artists via fashion as she posed for ARTPOPerazzi shots outside the Louvre’s famous Pyramid in Paris France wearing a playful geometric M. C. Eschertastic black and white body suit with sinister black H. R. Gigerrific super-stiletto heels and matching Alienesque silver rope hair. Do you Louvre it as much as I do?!?
Lady Gaga recently changed her online IDs from Mother Monster to Goddess of Love and writes numerous, lengthy responses to fans in which she reveals that she feels betrayed by a lot of people she loved and trusted who she worked so closely with on ARTPOP, saying they “have used me, lied to me, worked me into the ground for the personal gain.” She says that betrayal is the reason the “Do What U Want” music video has still not been released before optimistically saying that “because those who did not care about ARTPOP’s success are now gone … the dreams I have been planning can now come to fruition.”
Lady Gaga recently arrived in Japan where she is currently promoting her new album ARTPOP and over the Thanksgiving holiday she appeared on the Japanese television show Music Station where she performed her single “Applause” and gave an interview wearing faux anime eye makeup on her eyelids, an over-sized pink bow made of hair and a patchwork mini-dress comprised of the famous Botticelli painting “The Birth of Venus” that is featured on the ARTPOP album cover. Although Lady Gaga’s 2011 Thanksgiving Special did okay, her Thanksgiving Special this year with The Muppets was, in the words of Waldorf and Statler, a “real turkey.”
Lady Gaga has been receiving criticism over the past few months for taking herself and her ARTPOP “movement” a little too seriously, and the singer seemed to poke a little fun at herself (jut as she did as host of Saturday Night Live) by arriving at the American Music Awards literally riding her high horse. It wasn’t an actual horse, of course, of course, it was more of some kind of Star Wars stormtrooper horse powered by two human beings (aka interns).
Last night Lady Gaga was the host and musical guest on SNL, but during her performance of the Bruce Springsteen-inspired “Gypsy” she got upstaged by her peppy and passionate purple-pantsed tambourine man!
Whelp, ARTPOP is now released, and various critics have banged various gongs about it (click here for a digest of critical reactions.) Since her single “Applause” came out Gaga has made it clear that she doesn’t care what critics think. Maybe she’s gotten to a zen place about critics because of a relaxation technique called the Abramovic method.
