On tonight’s episode of Breaking Amish was big for model Kate Stoltzfus. She helped Abe’s sister Katie Ann get an Amish-to-English makeover, stood up to Rebecca and Abe when they got an attitude about it, and went on a date with a girl on television.
In the first episode of this season of Breaking Amish: Brave New World, viewers caught up with aspiring model Kate Stoltzfus as she posed for a Spiegel catalog retro photo shoot. It seems the folks at Spiegel liked what they saw in Kate as they used her as the cover model for their 2013 Spring/Summer catalog, which was a remake of their 1958 Spring/Summer catalog!
When the first season of Breaking Amish wrapped up, Kate Stoltzfus was still pursuing her professional modeling career after signing with Major Model Management in New York City. Breaking Amish is returning to TLC for Season 2 — but the original cast will not be coming back. Instead, the show will start fresh with a new group of men and women trying to find themselves in the real world. The five original members, Katie Stoltzfus, Jeremiah Raber, Sabrina High, Abe Schmucker, and Rebecca Byler, will be returning to the network as well, but this time it will be in their own spin-off show titled Breaking Amish: A Brave New World. The second part of TLC’s “Breaking Amish Reunion Special” brought in over 3 million viewers and wrapped up a HUGELY successful first season for the controversial show. So far there has been no word on whether or not there will be a Breaking Amish Season 2, or if what it would look like conceptually if there is, but according to one show insider there’s at least one cast member who is looking to come back to reality TV all on her own!
