Julianne Moore arrived at Wednesday night’s Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony looking absolutely gorgeous as usual from head to… ankle? The Golden Globe Award winning actress was wearing a gorgeous strapless Dior dress with a black top and a tailed lilac bottom with sparkling Chopard jewels. But, despite all the eye candy above, my eyes were drawn to the piggy prison break going on down below as Julianne’s littlest piggies attempted to cry “Wee wee wee!” all the way home.

Check out a complete list of winners from the 2011-2012 Primetime Emmys Sunday night telecast! Game of Thrones and Homeland were the big winners with six statuettes apiece, while HBO’s Sarah Palin biopic Game Change, History Channel’s mini-series Hatfields & McCoys, and perennial Emmy favorite Modern Family each walked away with 5.
This new Carrie remake starring Chloë Moretz and Julianne Moore has A LOT to live up to. It’s hard to compete with Sissy Spacek’s creepily earnest and bold innocence. She was so good in it, she got an Oscar nomination. When’s the last time you heard of someone getting nominated for an Academy Award for a horror movie performance?(If you haven’t seen the original Carrie, you should definitely watch it!)
When we saw the first leaked images of Julianne Moore as Alaskan Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin we had a feeling that she was going to give Tina Fey a run for her Palin-likeness money. Now that I’ve caught the first official trailer for the HBO film Game Change nothing has swayed me from that opinion. See the trailer as well as caps of Moore as Palin, Ed Helms as John McCain and Woody Harrelson as campaign manager Steve Schmidt.
The Dude abides so when it was time for the special edition Blu Ray release of the cult classic Coen Brothers film The Big Lebowski actor Jeff Bridges showed up and so did many other stars from the 1998 masterpiece. Find out how to get your copy, see great red carpet (that really tied the room together) photos of the stars and hear what Julianne Moore, John Goodman, John Turturro and Steve Buschemi had to say about their experiences on the classic film.
Crazy, Stupid, Love has gotten some preliminary reviews hinting that it’s a few steps beyond your run-of-the-mill romantic comedy. Along with IT girl Emma Stone, it’s got The Office’s lovable buffoon Steve Carell, the amazing Julianne Moore, crazy-awesome Marisa Tomei, and (probably most importantly) Ryan Gosling’s brick-hard abs. His acting’s usually not bad either (if you haven’t seen Blue Valentine, Netflix, buy a bottle of wine, and an extra box of Kleenex.)
Straight from the WTF Files is this latest bit of casting news: Julianne Moore will be portraying 2008 vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin in the HBO movie Game Change based on John Heilemann and Mark Halperin’s book by the same title based on the 2008 presidential campaigns. Keep reading for more details and to see an exclusive image of what Sarah Palianne Moore will look like!
Spring 2010 ad campaigns have a fire-haired motif emerging with St. John’s move to Karen Elson this season and Bulgari featuring 49-year-old actress Julianne Moore. Her co-stars in this emerald-lit adventure of earrings, bracelets and handbags are two cockatoos who aren’t spring chickens themselves: Shaka, aged 27, and Mr Bird, aged 13. These two bird-friends [...]
