Jersey Shore is coming to an end tomorrow night after six fist-pump-worthy seasons, but Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio isn’t done with reality TV. Although his spin-off, The Pauly D Project, wasn’t exactly the ratings draw MTV thought it would be, the E! Network is ready to sign Pauly on for a season two with them — but it won’t be quite the same.
It’s official — the sixth and final season of Jersey Shore has a premiere date! David Janollari, Head of MTV Programming, made the announcement during the network’s presentation at the Summer 2012 Television Critics Association Press Tour earlier today that the beginning of the end will be October 4. Janollari also officially announced Snooki & JWoww would be returning for a second season (something we revealed more than a week ago) as well as Money For Strangers. Not on the list of shows coming back for a sophomore season was Jersey Shore spin-off The Pauly D Project. Keep reading for the press release with all the details! #JerzdaysAreBack
Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio has remained infamously single for the entirety of his run on Jersey Shore — as far as we know! Don’t get us wrong, he’s definitely spent his fair share of time in the Smush Room, but no one has been able to tie him down. Or have they? Check out these photos of Pauly D gettin’ cozy and exchanging googly eyes with 2012 Las Vegas Hot 100 competitor Lina Martini outside the Zouk nightclub in Dallas over the weekend! Could Pauly be DTD? (Down to date)
It’s the end of an era as the cast of Jersey Shore wraps filming on their sixth and final season of what is one of the biggest hit shows in the history of cable television. Even the MTV crew members seemed more relaxed, allowing themselves to be easily photographed along with Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D, JWoww, Vinny, Ronni, Sammi and Deena as they all carried their suitcases down the steps and to their (very nice) vehicles one last time.
The Jersey Shore stars’ salaries have always been a topic up for debate. These kids seem to have it made! They get to go on vacation a few times a year and party with friends for a couple months at a time. Most people have to pay for vacations, not the other way around!
America’s favorite Guidos and Guidettes are currently back in Seaside Heights filming the sixth and final season of Jersey Shore and it appears they’re up to their old tricks again. According to numerous reports a number of the cast members were involved in a massive brawl at the Bamboo Bar Friday night. Keep reading to see photos of two men allegedly involved in the brawl who have already hired an attorney and have announced they plan on filing a lawsuit. Also, see a photo of JWoww on crutches after she allegedly injured her ankle during the altercation!
MTV producers reportedly sat down with the cast of Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights just before filming began on the sixth installment of the popular reality show began and explained that this would be the last season. “An executive producer announced that this season will be the last,” an insider reveals in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now. “She stressed to the cast that fans will remember them for this season, not the first, so they should bring their A game.”
Those Jersey Shore kids are filthy rich. We all know it. They got stinky rich from wearing hair gel and spray tans while they got plastered and laid. Now, thanks to a lawsuit filed against DJ Pauly D by International Creative Management, we no longer have to speculate about exactly how many millions DJ Pauly D gets to party before our rapt eyes.
Catch a teaser for tonight’s premiere of Pauly D Project as Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D heads out to Vegas from Providence with crew in hand. They’re set up at The Palms in some over-the-top swag digs and they act accordingly by losing their collective (expletive). Clip includes possibly my favorite Pauly D quote.
