Since Wednesday Chris Brown and Rihanna have been exchanging tweets about their most recent breakup after Chris explained in an interview that he couldn’t be focused on “wife-ing her.”
Rihanna’s latest contribution to this Twitter breakup battle is a lonely, somber photo of herself posing with a martini glass.

Chris Brown and Rihanna first began dating in 2008 after a couple of years of being “just friends.” All was well until that fateful night of February 8, 2009 when Chris assaulted Rihanna, leaving her swollen, bruised, and scratched. While many assumed that would be the end of their relationship, it wasn’t. The two reconciled late last year and broadcasted their relationship openly on social media. Now, just days after celebrating his 24th birthday with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran in Las Vegas, Chris is announcing that he and Rihanna have once again parted ways.

Chris Brown has officially left Twitter. The singer gave himself the boot after getting into a nasty fight with writer and self-proclaimed “a**hole” Jenny Johnson. When Chris tweeted, “I look old as f**k! I’m only 23,” and Jenny responded by saying, “Being a worthless piece of s**t can really age a person,” Chris was set off and the drama that unfolded has left our “*” button extremely overworked.
