Baz Luhrmann’s much anticipated razzle-dazzle love-it-or-hate it adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby hits theaters today (in 3-D nontheless.) In anticipation of that he’s a little backstory on one of the the inspirations for one of the main characters, Daisy Buchanan.

Holiday Season 2012 will bring us Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby featuring Leonardo DiCaprio as the title character (Leo also played Romeo in Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet.)

Just when Carey Mulligan couldn’t get any more cute, she does this. Saturday (April 21, 2011) adorable Carey Mulligan married Marcus Mumford of Mumford & Sons, and she did it in a custom-made Prada dress and pink rain boots!
