Tonight is the beginning of the end of MTV’s “ground-breaking docu-series” Teen Mom as the fourth and final season of the show premieres with back-to-back episodes featuring Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood, and Farrah Abraham, who invited the world into their lives when they first appeared on 16 and Pregnant in 2009. Just one day after Amber Portwood was ordered to serve out the remainder of her five-year prison sentence for a felony drug conviction, ABC News sat down with the 22-year-old former Teen Mom star for an exclusive interview in which Amber talked about her decision to return to prison and forgo further treatment in a drug program, and just how bad her addiction had gotten. Additional details have emerged from yesterday’s sentencing of Teen Mom Amber Portwood. During the hearing her attorney discussed how drugs were readily available to the reality star while meeting with MTV producers and Amber talked about her regret of having ever made the decision to be on television. Teen Mom Amber Portwood was sentenced to 5 years in jail by an Indiana judge after having requested that the courts do as much. If you missed the previous report on Amber, she shocked her attorney and the court by requesting to be re-sentenced. Her original sentencing stemming from her physical assault of Gary Shirley which was aired on MTV was for five years but she was shown leniency by the courts at the time. MTV has released the first official promotional images for the upcoming final season of Teen Mom. The photos are still images from the first two episodes of Season 4 and feature Maci Bookout, Bentley, Kyle King, Farrah Abraham, Sophia, Debra Danielsen, Amber Portwood, Gary Shirley, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. There are still no professional studio shots yet, but the girls (minus Amber) have been in New York City this week, and I’m sure getting official studio shots is on the agenda!

On Thursday Teen Mom Amber Portwood shocked an Indiana courtroom when she asked to be sent back to prison to serve out her five-year sentence in lieu of returning to the court drug program. She admitted to the judge that she has never been able to stay clean, even while enrolled in the program, and now TMZ is reporting that the drug she is addicted to is Suboxone.
