Teen Moms Maci Bookout, Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer have taped an upcoming epsiode of Dr. Oz that will coincide with the 10th Annual National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy in the US. In the photo above (you can click on the image for a larger view) is Maci with her son Bentley Edwards, Kailyn with her son Isaac Rivera, Leah with her daughter Aliannah and Dr. Oz who is holding Leah’s other baby girl Aleeah.
Dr. Oz talked to the MTV stars as they opened up about the show’s popularity, their personal struggles and the swirl of media attention surrounding them on a special episode airing on Tuesday, May 3.
During the exclusive interview, the three girls give an update on their current situations (Leah and Corey anyone), their baby-daddys (like rappin’ Jo Rivera) and what they hope lies in store for their futures.
Also during the episode Dr. Oz will chat up the impact of the show like the never ending does or does it not help prevent teen pregnancy question. Joining the good doctor and the Teen Moms for the discussion will be special guests Melissa Henson, Director of Communications and Public Education, Parents Television Council and Amy Kramer from the National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Council. In addition show creator Lauren Dolgen will join the panel, that should be interseting.

Dr. Oz will also speak with Maci’s mom, Sharon, and Leah’s mother, Dawn, to find out how parents can play a crucial role in helping their kids understand the ramifications of having sex. What no Barbara Evans? In addition, Dr. Oz will share his own experience as a parent and reveal his reactions to watching the show with his teenage daughter. Well that last part explains the absence of Barbara and Jenelle!
