I went next level for this post on the just announced cast members for Season 12 of Dancing With the Stars. Not only am I going to give you the list of the celebs who will be looking to follow in Jennifer Grey’s fleet footsteps but I will also be providing you a found YouTube video preview of each and every quasi-star dancing so that you can have an insider’s knowledge of the competition!
That’s right! When all your DWTS buddies will be talking about the contestants and who they think will win you will have the power of insider info having had the opportunity to see for yourself all of these sort-of-famous people getting their respective grooves on. First up here is the list of contestants for season 12:

Now on to some seriously grainy old school and random videos of all of these fine folks dancing. As for order-of-appearance I’ll just stick with the list above so first up is wrestler Chris Jericho shakin’ his spandex money maker at one of them thar wrastlin’ events!
Next up is Lil Romeo showing all us peeps how to do the dip and the “Re-Jay.” Like Lil says his moves are like gumbo.
Moving on along with our Season 12 DWTS preview here is everyone’s fav Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson getting trained on a little pole dancing so she can sell units of The Kendra Wilkinson Sport Pole. What else did you expect?
From Kendra we head over to the other end of the spectrum with Kirstie Alley and her infamous bikini break-down on The Oprah Winfrey Show as introduced by David Letterman.
So do you have a favorite yet? Let’s see if soul sister Wendy Williams has the chops in this clip from her show in which she gets a little lesson from the Radio City Rockettes.
Now we have Disney (ahem ABC is owned by Disney) starlet Chelsea Kane from back when she went by the name Chelsea Staub cutting a little rug during a Disney Dance cruise.
There is no question in my mind who has the fastest feet and biggest fight from this list and that would be retired boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard. Here’s an old-school Diet Coke commercial where Sugar show some of his famous footwork.
Next up is the eternally youthful one and only Karate Kid Ralph Macchio. I like his chances big time after Jennifer Grey set an 80’s movie star theme with last year’s crown. Plus if you caught his recent spot Wax On F*ck Off on Funny or Die then you know he can still entertain like a kicking whooping crane! Here’s Ralph juke-joint-jumping in a scene from Karate Kid 2.
The Steelers just about won themselves another Superbowl this year. Tough and nimble wide receiver Hines Ward has been a staple of the modern day version of the dominating legendary football franchise. Here’s a brief clip of Ward doing a little TD celebratin’ by getting his Riverdance on.
Petra Nemcova is a supermodel, a very sexy, hot, fine looking supermodel. There were about 5 billion clips of her in bikinis looking amazing but this brief clip was the closest I came to dancing. But hey she’s a supermodel so who cares right?
And now last AND least is some shock radio DJ named Mike Catherwood who goes by the handle Psycho Mike. No chance for a W from this fella but I wanted to be complete. In this clip Psycho Mike is at one of those “Thriller” remakes and makes fun of it in a really annoying way:
