A little diddy about… Meg and Mellencamp?
Rumors have been swirling about a blossoming romance between recently divorced rock and roller John Mellencamp and American film sweetheart Meg Ryan, who have been spending a lot of time together between John’s concerts.
That was the case last night in Toronto as the happy couple left Mellencamp’s gig at Massey Hall and stopped briefly so he could sign autographs for fans. While the car was stopped and the singer signed his John Mellencamp through a rolled-down window, photographers caught Meg flashing what appears to be an R.O.C.K. on the ring finger!
Actually, I don’t really see a “rock” there, it looks like just a band. (Anyone want to speculate that the two have already tied the knot?) But still, it is a ring and it is on Meg Ryan’s ring finger!
By the way, could there be a more “American” couple than John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan? Beyonce and Jay-Z are close, but Meg’s oeuvre of charming movie roles seals the deal for me! “Little Pink Houses” and Sleepless in Seattle?!? C’mon!
