Everything’s comin’ up roses for LuAnn de Lesseps! She’s been dating a hot French wine distributor for over a year, and she also has a budding acting career!
Despite her recent divorce, Real Housewives of New York star Countess LuAnn de Lesseps found herself off the market again — just as soon as she was back on!
Last year things heated up between LuAnn and Jacques around New Year’s 2010 when they met at a party, and the pair were soon off to Paris to spend Valentine’s Day in the world’s most romantic city.
She described their storybook meeting to E! Online:
“He found me. We were at a party in New York, and he took me by the hand and asked me to dance.”
LuAnn gushed to People last year:
“I feel very lucky . . . The first time I saw him, I was like, ‘Wow!’ He’s a wow kind of guy. He’s just lovely.”
“In Paris, we had a walk at the Place de la Concorde … we did a tour at 2 a.m. after dinner. It was amazing. There was nobody on the streets of Paris and it was lit up like a scene from a movie. It was so beautiful.”
The Class With the Countess author met hot Jacques’ family while on their romantic journey last year “We went to see the parts of Paris that Jacques grew up in … it went very well. [His family are] very nice people, lovely people.”
A year later LuAnn and Jacques seem to be still going strong. He helped her prepare for her nude scene on Law and Order: SVU.
That brief acting stint wasn’t LuAnn’s last, she’s recently been shooting scenes for a new USA show called Eden, playing a socialite, and she seemed ecstatic to be moving to scripted television when she spoke to Radar about her character: “It’s exciting! I’m making the move into scripted. I feel comfortable paying the socialite. I’m good at it!”
The Real Housewife (who was once married to a Count for 16 years) also took a stab at pop music, even shooting a music video for her dance tune “Money Can’t Buy You Class.” Click here to watch/listen.
It looks like The Countess’s life is getting even better post-Count. She’s still going strong with Real Housewives, took a stab at singing, is making quite a few notches on her acting belt, and has a new love that’s going strong. Is another marriage in her future?
She’s not ruling it out, telling Radar Online earlier this month: “We’re very close and care very much for each other so you never know! I’m not against marrying again.”
