Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and Kim Zolciak star maker Kandi Burruss is set to release her brand new solo album Kandi Koated December 14 and Thursday she dropped the first official video for the single “Leave U.”
Kandi pulls no stops in the video, wearing a bosom-revealing skin-tight leopard-print top that has me thinkin’ she should change her name to Kandi Purrrrruss!
The song is all about her man not treating her as well as he used to and how she’s thinking about finding another man who’s willing to treat her like that again.
Kandi takes the opportunity to remind her man (and all of us!) that she is one luscious peach with more curves than Spaghetti Junction! (Atlanta joke y’all!) Her attire throughout seems to be saying, “Take a look at what you’re gonna be missing, fool!”
I was following along with the song just fine and feelin’ Kandi’s sexy groove right up until she revealed that one of the things her man used to do to her was “pick my mama up from Sunday school, you used to do it.” There’s something about the image of picking up a mother-in-law from Sunday school that kinda takes me out of the mood if you know what I’m saying.
Here’s my favorite still from the video in which Kandi unleashes her patented “WTF?” face on her man. (Actually, if may be renamed the WTP? face this season as we’re all wondering, What the Phaedra?!?)
There isn’t much info on the album on amazon or the Asylum web site, but being an avid Real Housewives of Atlanta fan I did notice a list of song titles Kandi was considering for her new record when the cameras caught her laptop screen in last week’s episode. Here are the song titles:
