Carrie Prejean move over! As far as getting fired from a pageant title, you can’t hold a candle to Miss Puerto Rico Petite Keishla Villafañe Rivera, who was stripped of her crown for alleged “intolerable conduct” including the assault of pageant staff and death threats. Death threats!

The diminuitive diva started causing problems shortly after receiving the crown last August. Libni Garcia is a spokeswoman for the pageant, and though she declined an interview, she did tell an AP reporter, “We were trying to handle this conduct of hers, but it was impossible. It was constant.” She said more information would be released once Luis Santiago Productions, the pageant company, officially files legal action against Villafane.
Apparently beauty pageants are taken a little more seriously in Puerto Rico (hard to believe after the headline-grabbing Prejean drama) with five Miss Universe winners coming from the Commonwealth.

And in case you were wondering, as I most certainly was, who the Miss Puerto Rico Petite equivalent of Tami Farrell is (ie runner-up) the answer is the lovely Miss Aguadilla Petite 2008 Tamara Perez, who will assume the title until the 2009 pageant in August. Is there anything lovelier than the runner-up to an ousted pageant queen? I think I’m developing a fetish!
