Let’s take a moment to bask in the splentabulushness that is TamFarr. Look at the authentic joy in her face, those all-natural bubbies and girl-next-door demeanor! As this gloriously cornifed image would suggest, I’d be willing to bet she sweats glitter! Not winning hasn’t looked this good since Anna Kournikova!
In case you missed the headlines, Carrie Prejean’s fifteen minutes were up so Donald Trump removed her title as Miss California. Filling her controversial high-heel pumps is the glamorific, and completely uncontroversial, Miss Malibu Tami Farrell. I was one of the first ones on board the Tami train when I prematurely announced her greatness to the world with “Spotlight on Tami Farrell” over a month ago. Sadly, my faith was weak as I got off the T-train after a week had passed and it was still stuck at the station. (Stupid Donald Trump!) But, I’m hopping right back on board now! (I assume my ticket is still good) This fifteen minute train ride is gonna be glorious!
I have a question for all you beauty pageant scholars and historians out there. Carrie Prejean was runner-up for Miss USA and now she has been replaced by Tami Farrell. Does that mean Tami Farrell is now Miss USA runner-up? I guess I kinda hope not, because I don’t wanna be hatin’ on whoever it is that’s Miss USA!

You’re welcome. I have no idea on how to obtain a press pass. Sorry! I might suggest you contact the directors of the Miss California USA pageant. I’ve never attended a state or national pageant in person, but would assume there is a significant amount of break time during commercial breaks.
Great photos of Kristen Dalton, who is actually Miss USA 2009! Kristen will represent USA in the Miss Universe pageant which will be held this August in the Bahamas.
Carrie Prejean placed first runner-up in the Miss USA pageant. However, Carrie lost this title when Donald Trump approved her dethronement of being Miss California USA last month. I might suggest that you look into attending the Miss California USA pageant, which will be held in November in Palm Springs, CA at the Riviera Resort. It will be a televised event.

I think I would actually dig going to the Miss USA pageant! I bet it is quite the show! (Is there a lot of “dead” time between portions of the show? I know with some televised events it can kinda drag in between) How do I get a press pass? I promise to have only nice things to say!
As a result of Carrie Prejean being terminated from her Miss California USA post, she also has to forfeit her title as Miss USA first runner-up. It’s very likely that Miss Arizona USA, Alicia Monique Blanco, will assume the role of first runner-up since Alicia placed third in the pageant. I feel that it’s unlikely that Kristen Dalton will even place in the top five at the Miss Universe Pageant which is scheduled for August. While the sparkling Kristen can light up a stage, her interview skills and diction need some fine tuning.
As for the lovely and very hip, Tami Farrell, she will remain Miss California USA through November 2009.
