On tonight’s The Spin Crowd, Jonathan Cheban says he doesn’t usually do charity, but he made an exception for television, his good friend Kelly Osbourne.
Kelly came to Jonathan and his partner Simon Huck to put on a red carpet clothing drive event for My Friend’s Place, a Hollywood homeless youth center.
Being a publicist Jonathan asks “How are we going to make it hot so we get great press?” and then suggests that they lay out cardboard boxes instead of red carpet. They actually probably should have done that to get more press, but Kelly shoots him down by jokingly telling him he’s going to hell.
He didn’t go the cardboard box route, but he did enlist the help of his buddy and producer Kim Kardashian to make the event “hot.” Kim, her mom Kris, and Stephanie Pratt were the celebrities Jonathan was able to wrangle up for the May 27th event at Mi6 Night Club(pics below).
