Writing about Michael Moore is not enjoyable at all. (Though drawing this cartoon was certainly fun!) If MM was still raking in Oscars and getting treated as a beacon of unbiased Truth in film-making I might take it upon myself to provide some small artillery in the fight, but I think his influence and credibility are quickly diminishing to the point where I'd just as soon not think about him and wait until his schlockumentary is released in theaters and then draw another cartoon :) (Actually, I have another idea for one that might get drawn before then, but I can assure you it won't have much more of my anti-Moore verbiage attached to it) Oooof – I have to confess that poking fun at Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan is actually a little enjoyable. I suppose I am willing to concede Michael Moore's straw men are similar to mine, but I'm not sure they are appropriate tools for someone in his profession. If starcasm.net takes on the economic collapse with the promise of somehow shedding light on the truth of what happened and how to avoid it in the future, I will abandon my straw men. And if Michael Moore starts a celebrity blog where he makes his points with a little snark, then I will allow him his straw men and will try hard to let go of my revulsion.
