Actor Andy Garcia arrived in Rome, Italy earlier today sporting a Panama hat, shades and a mustache worthy of Inspector Clouseau! For those of my generation Andy’s almost comical appearance probably reminds you of the sometimes-comical almost Andy Kaufman musician Leon Redbone. (In Leon’s early years he was rumored to be Andy Kaufman in disguise.)

Garcia needs to trim his brim and darken his shades a bit, but otherwise spot on! Is there a Leon Redbone biopic in the works that I don’t know about? Or perhaps the old 1980s Panama Jack clothing line is coming back as a major motion picture? Or maybe Andy Garcia just looks kinda silly…
