Yesterday Real Madrid’s soccer hottie Cristiano Ronald shocked the world with a Facebook message. He announced that he’s the father of a secret son. Not only that, but he has full custody of the baby and the mother’s identity is being kept confidential.
Here’s what he posted:
“It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy. As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship. No further information will be provided on this subject and I request everyone to fully respect my right to privacy (and that of the child) at least on issues as personal as these are.”
But who is this mysterious woman? We don’t know her identify yet, but it’s bound to come out of the woodwork at some point. Here’s what we do know:
According to Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha (via The Daily Mail) the baby’s mother is from the United States and gave birth last month. The paper also claims that Ronaldo’s family members are currently working on the paperwork to bring the child to Portugal.
The 25-year-old Real Madrid forward is know to be a real playboy, and was briefly linked to Kim Kardashian (and about 80,000 other women) earlier this year. However, the famous “personality” has been baby-bump free the whole time, so we can eliminate her. Ronaldo’s current girlfriend, model Irina Shayk, can also be eliminated. She posted on her Facebook page: “My boyfriend is now the father of a boy.”

Now there’s talk that Cristiano hired a surrogate mother to carry his child.
