Ben and Erin Napier’s baby is only a few weeks (!) away from being born, and the Home Town stars underscored the moment by sharing a pair of new sonogram pics. It’s actually an amusing head fake from Erin: she begins on a gentle note, quickly veers into the reality of how uncomfortable pregnancy can be (referencing a horror classic as she does so), and then chalks the whole thing up to weirdness. If the chest-bursting scene in Alien makes you uncomfortable, look away now:

Erin and Ben, who announced her pregnancy this past October, had most recently explained that they’ve been rushing to finish as much filming for Home Town Season 2 as possible, before Erin’s January delivery. Ben also shared that he’s building baby Helen’s crib himself, “using quarter-sawn white oak”–and that his “dream” is for his daughter to “one day [she] can give it to her little girl.”
On a note of related cuteness, Ben and Erin Napier’s baby will be decked out in only the finest onesies, as a separate social media update made quite clear:
In case you were wondering: no, Erin hasn’t shared any new baby bump photos since beginning her third trimester–and remaining shockingly bump-free–in late October. (It seems she and Khloe “Probably Pregnant” Kardashian are engaged in a battle of who can hide their baby bump the best.) Given Erin’s documentary tendencies, though, it seems a safe bet that Home Town fans will be kept abreast of Helen’s development during her final few weeks in the womb.
