Kail Lowry and Javi Marroquin co-writing book series ‘He Said, She Said’ together

Kailyn Lowry Javi Marroquin writing book series together

Teen Mom 2 dad Javi Marroquin has been teasing a book for what seems like years, and now it looks like we will finally be able to read it — with a catch.

“I know that you guys have been patiently waiting for my book,” Javi wrote on Instagram. “Trust me when I say that it’s coming, but since Kailyn has quite a bit to say, I had to write just a little more, to really give you my side of what happened.”

Ah, but it wasn’t just Javi that “had to write just a little more!”

“Lately, it seems as though it’s my word against hers,” Javi continued. “To be fair, there are always two sides to every story. Can’t keep the secret any longer. My publisher @13thandjoan and I will be releasing my first book series with @kaillowry #HeSaidSheSaid It will be ready before you know it! Stay tuned! #HeSaidSheSaid”

That’s right: Javi and Kail will be working together to share both sides of the story! And let’s not skip over the other subtle detail included in Javi’s announcement: “I will be releasing by first book series with @kaillowry.” So this will be a series of books.

Kail also announced the new project on Instagram with the book cover (above) and her explanation:

These days, it seems like everyone has something to say about my life. I’ve always wondered, how many people know the real truth? Even though you’ve seen so much play out on tv, there are many sides to a story. In my case, there are two. I know you’ve heard what @javim9 has said. Now, it’s time for me to set the record straight. I’ve partnered with @13thandjoan Publishing to tell the story, according to me. Stay tuned for the official release date of my new book series #hesaidshesaid Trust me, this will be one for the books, literally. #hesaidshesaid

The joint book project comes a little more than a week before Javi and Kail make their appearance on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Edition, which seems like it was filmed eight years ago — amirite?

Here’s an extended preview trailer with Kail and Javi and the rest of the Season 9 household:

Getting back to the book series — neither Javi nor Kail revealed an exact release date, or even where the books will be available. It appears as though other 13th & Joan titles are available through Amazon, so I assume there will be a listing there soon.

So, what do you think of Javi and Kail’s collaborative literary project? Will you be picking up copies to get both sides of the story (stories)?
