LAPD has confirmed that rapper Young Dolph was shot multiple times in Hollywood earlier today. He was reportedly rushed to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
TMZ broke the news moments ago, and the site reveals that Young Dolph was in a very public location when the bullets began to fly:
Law enforcement sources tell us the rapper was just outside Shoe Palace at the famous Hollywood and Highland intersection when he was hit … officers were nearby and responded immediately.

UPDATE – Los Angeles Police have detained one suspect in the shooting, but no further information is available at this time — including whether or not authorities are looking for any additional shooters.

Amazingly, this is not the first instance of Young Dolph being shot at multiple times — this year! On February 25, roughly 100 shots were fired at Young Dolph’s bulletproof SUVs in Charlotte. Thanks to his armored vehicles, which reportedly cost him roughly $600,000, Young Dolph was unharmed in that incident. A few months later, rapper Blac Youngsta turned himself in for weapons charges directly related to the shooting.
