PHOTOS Porsha Williams and Erica Mena in the same AMAZING Bfyne swimsuit

Erica Mena Porsha Williams wearing the same Bfyne swimsuit

I’ve been a celebrity blogger for ten years, so I have seen my fair share of sexy ladies in swimsuits. Although I certainly never get tired of sexy fun-in-the-sun eye candy, I can’t recall the last time the swimsuit itself made my jaw drop. That was certainly the case when I saw photos of The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Porsha Williams and Love & Hip Hop New York‘s Erica Mena packaging their bikinitastic bods in the same STUNNINGLY colorful and intricate two-piece suit by Bfyne!

Here are some more photos of Porsha Williams #Beingfyne — be sure to swipe through the gallery:

I was curious to know more about the maker of the bikini (would it be considered a bikini?) and I stumbled onto Bfyne’s Instagram page, which is JAM PACKED with more photos of this swimsuit, and many more that are just as creative and amazing. The particular swimsuit worn by Porsha and Erica is called “IMAAN” and it is part of Bfyne’s Sahara Collection. (The IMAAN suit is currently listed for $205.99 on Bfyne’s website, but that price may go up soon!)

The Sahara Collection is obviously inspired by Egyptian art, with many of the same bright colors–especially the gold and the intense lapis lazuli blue–done in a similar, mosaic style.

Here are some more photos of the IMAAN swimsuit from Bfyne’s Instagram and website:

If colorful and intricate are your thing, you’ll want to check out the rest of Bfyne’s Sahara Collection. Their Empire Collection is also very colorful, although less intricate.

And, if bright colors aren’t your thing, Bfyne has got you covered (barely!) with their Phoenix and Noir collections. Erica Mena showed more Bfyne love by modeling one of their monotone bikinis in a brief video:

Here is a screen grab of an overview of some of Bfyne’s swimsuits from 2017 followed by a little background on their designer and the brand from the site’s “About Me” — with a few more photos and even a video from Youtuber La Bronze James tossed in:

BUKI ADE
Designer, entrepreneur and Nigerian-American, Buki Ade is changing the fashion industry through her culturally inclusive designs. She was inspired to start a swimwear line after searching for a unique swimsuit while on vacation; there she realized the industry lacked creativity and representation of African designers. One swimsuit and more than 200 thousand social media followers later, Bfyne swimwear has been featured on the pages of Vogue, Glamour and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Her line, an unapologetic tribute to women’s curves and confidence, with purposely-cut lines and strategically placed seams, make even the most boyish figure alluring.

Buki didn’t think of herself as a designer but knew she was different. Growing up, she never wanted to look like everyone else, and put her fine gal style on everything she wore. Her humble background and innovative mindset set the foundation for the future entrepreneur. As a designer and stylist, she lives by the company motto of “unleash your inner Fynebabe”; taking risks with her own personal style, she effortlessly incorporates the latest trends in African culture and the confidence of a queen.

She continues to inspire young designers eager to break into the competitive world of fashion. Knowing the road to success isn’t without its challenges, she encourages young designers to push through and believe in their talent. Looking ahead, Buki continues to expand her growing empire to include high-end apparel and men’s wear. In the end, fashion for her is not about recreating what has already been done, but setting the standards to inspire others to create.
