36-year-old Macaulay Culkin has become good friends with his 19-year-old goddaughter Paris Jackson, and the pair got just got matching spoon tattoos to solidify their special bond.
The duo got their tattoos from L.A. parlor Tattoo Mania. Spoon tattoos can sometimes symbolize something known as the “spoon theory” to explain the energy drain and struggle of chronic illness. Paris’ spoon is the latest edition to her collection of over 50.
Culkin and Jackson have always been close but over the past few years they’ve been showcasing their silliness on social media. Culkin was famously, and controversely, close to Paris’ father Michael Jackson when he was a young child star.
The Home Alone alum has been living in New York City working on his Velvet Underground pizza-themed cover band and appearing in sparse acting gigs. He’s been romantically linked to Brenda Song, but they haven’t gone public with their relationship. Paris is currently coming to her own as a celebrity in her own right and finding success as a model.
