Tila Tequila is now selling her original paintings on etsy

Tila Tequila selling art on etsy

If you are looking to be rewarded for being shocking, then you would be hard pressed to find a more welcoming home than the world of fine art. So, it makes perfect sense that uber celebritroll Tila Tequila has decided to utilize her infamously controversial shock antics for a brand new career as a painter.

“Hey guys! I finally have my very 1st piece of artwork up for sale!!!!” Tila excitedly wrote on Facebook, with a link to the etsy listing for the painting below. “Please check it out and read the description for why I’m selling this painting for $1,000.00 and why I decided to pick this one as my first painting to sell out of all of the other ones that I have available!”

Here’s the Tilart:

Tila Tequila painting for sale

The painting, which looks to essentially be solid black paint on canvas, is titled “Jane” and measures 14 inches by 11 inches. But, just like reality, the real truth lies beneath the dark surface — and in this painting’s case, the real truth is…Finding Nemo? I will let Tila explain:

You’re probably wondering why the hell is this POS black painting is being listed for $1,000.00, right? Well, let me tell you the story behind this fascinating piece of art! It first started off as a Nemo painting I made for my 2 year old daughter (which I have posted a picture of), but every once in a while I will have this demonic possession or spirit take over me and her name is Jane. She is constantly trying to kill me or try find ways to sabatoge anything good in my life. She’s just a miserable demon who is angry that God has forsaken her and she is trapped here! So sometimes she will take over me and at this particular moment she felt like destroying the beautiful artwork that I painted for my daughter, and Jane painted over it!

I feel I should interrupt at this point and point out that Jane (aka Jane Cordovez) has been a recurring force in Tila’s life for years. You might recall her series of live Jane Cordovez videos that made headlines back in 2009 as Tila pranced around in lingerie wielding a gun and a sword:

That certainly looks like an evil woman who would paint over Nemo! OK, back to Tila’s explication:

So while I was battling with Jane (which I do on a daily basis) I decided to take a piece of her soul/spirit and capture her in this painting in which I initially titled ‘The Void.’ It was a brutal battle and I almost did not make it back alive but I fought her and now a piece of her actual living being is trapped inside of this painting! You can even see a strand of her hair that got caught in the painting as well! You can also still see the blue on the sides and bottom of this painting from the life that once thrived underneath it from my Nemo painting.

Jane is the angel of death. So you see, this is not just some regular, boring, picture of black paint on canvas…..this is literally the spirit of a demon/fallen angel named Jane trapped inside of this artwork! However, I must warn you that whomever ends up being the new owner of this piece may end up picking up on some of her energies and black magic that resides inside of this painting! She may even end up possessing you if you’re not careful since this piece is alive!!!

Another quick interjection — if there are any aspiring horror film script writers out there, Tila has essentially handed you Tila Tekillah all wrapped up and ready to go! Here’s the plot: As a joke, someone buys Tila Tequila’s painting “Jane” for a friend, and it’s really hilarious…until the demonic angel starts to awaken! The tagline could be “Jane – She puts the ‘pain’ in painting!” But, I digress. Back to you, Tilanardo da Vinci….

I was not initially planning on listing it to sell, but since it’s going to be a while before I post more of my paintings up for sale I figured I would just post this piece up as my first one so that you all get an up close and personal glimpse of my personal life to understand how my mind works, to understand the depths of my paintings, and the meaning behind all of the contradicting personalities that come through them, which you will see in time as I list them! Welcome to the front lines of this spiritual warfare!

I personally feel that this piece of art is priceless but if anyone out there wishes to own a piece of a real demon’s/fallen angel’s soul/spirit……then you can have it for $1,000.00. If you have any further questions regarding this piece please feel free to inbox me and I’ll get back to you asap! If you’re lucky, you might even have Jane herself respond to you! Thank you for your time and interest in my work! But the most important thing about this message is that through darkness there is always hope and light at the end of the tunnel! Never give up on your self or your dreams! God bless! ???

And just in case you wanted to know more about Tila the artist, as opposed to this singular work of art, here is her etsy bio:

I first started painting in 2012 and realized how much I loved it! Unfortunately, a series of events took place in my life that had me put my dreams of becoming a professional painter on hold for a few years! Fast forward to 5 years later I am finally back and painting again! There is so much to be said for what I have endured during those 5 long years, and what better way to share my story than through my paintings? They say that a picture is worth a thousand words and what better way for me to unveil my soul to you than through my paintings? Please keep in mind that I have only just started painting again so thank you for your patience as I continue to practice and get better with time! If any of you just so happen to like my paintings so far then please feel free to make a purchase! That would be very inspiring to know that someone out there likes my artwork! Thank you! I look forward to sharing my new journey with you all!

We look forward to it as well Tila! And speaking of journeys, we’ve been on a long one right alongside Tila for the ten years that Starcasm has been around. Most of our readers are probably unaware that when we started I used to do pen and ink drawings on notebook paper for pretty much every post because image licensing services were so expensive. Doing this post about The Artist Formerly Known As Tila made me think of a very small thumbnail drawing I did of Tila that I’ve always very fond of. I went through the ol’ Starcasm art archives and dug it up:

If you really like it, you can purchase it for $1,000. But I feel I must warn you that whomever ends up being the new owner of this piece may end up picking up on some of her energies and black magic that resides inside of this drawing! She may even end up possessing you if you’re not careful since this piece is alive!!!
