German woman decapitates lover during ‘kinky sex game,’ gets 12 years for manslaughter

German woman decapitates lover

A German woman known only as Gabriele P has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after decapitating her lover during what she claims was a “kinky sex game” in her Munich home.

The crime actually took place nearly a decade ago, and was only discovered thanks to the drunken confession of Gabriele’s accomplice. According to Crimefeed, Gabriele and her then-boyfriend, Alex H, were engaged in (presumably consensual) sexual activities one night in 2008 when “Gabriele tied Alex down in bed, blocked his vision by putting tape over diving goggles he was wearing, and then used a circular saw to decapitate him.”

The deed done, Gabriele called Alex’s mother and said that Alex had run off to Romania with another woman. Then she covered Alex’s body with a sheet and let it sit in the house for six months.

Only after that much time had passed, and she’d revealed to her new lover Christian K what she’d done did Gabriele go about disposing of Alex’s corpse. She and Christian used the same circular saw to cut Alex up, then wrapped Alex’s remains in plastic and buried him in the garden.

It’s worth pointing out that Gabriele received a manslaughter charge and subsequent lighter sentence after she argued Alex had forced her to participate in “degrading sex games,” and that she killed him out of “desperation.” According to The Province’s report, 16-year-old Gabriele met and fell in love with 18-year-old Alex in 2001; she testified that he was “cultured and funny,” but that, over the course of their relationship, he became “two different people.”

That report also differs from the dominant narrative in one key aspect: it seems that Gabriele didn’t actually kill Alex via decapitation, instead “holding the running saw to his chest” and only decapitating him after he was already dead.

Christian received a 32-month prison sentence for helping Gabriele hide Alex’s body.
