Kylie Jenner has officially been rid of Tyga for a full month, so it looks like their eighth (ninth?) breakup may have taken. And, though early reports suggested she was considering letting her mom set her up with Drake, it looks like the youngest Kardashian has settled for someone closer to her own age. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott (real name Jacques Webster Jr.) have been together for approximately a fortnight, and are currently best-known for how hard it is for them to refrain from making out in public.
In fact, pretty much all the coverage of Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott has, so far, focused on their PDA. They got in a “passionate makeout sesh” at Travis’ birthday party in SoHo this past weekend, per Page Six. After that, the pair were “clinging” to each other and “[looked] very loved up” before his concert at Boston’s Bentley University this weekend, according to the Mirror. They also, claimed People, were “kissing quite a bit” at a nightclub after, and were “super hand-holdy” at a Houston Rockets game a few days before.
So the Daily Mail saying that the two are “super into each other” is hardly a surprise. But it is interesting note how eager everybody seems to be to use Travis as the Listerine to Tyga’s liver and onion entrée. For one thing, it’s going to be kind of sad to not have Tyga around to mock anymore. And for another–as Cosmo pointed out–Kylie has played this game before. During a break from Tyga last summer, she laid down the PDA with PartyNextDoor something fierce, such that their brief fling even spawned sex tape rumors.
And, yes, it’s technically true that Kylie and Tyga never officially confirmed their split. So Kylie’s whole relationship with Travis could be nothing more than a forthcoming cross-promotion. In which case she’ll be back with Tyga just in time to recieve a lavish birthday gift from him only to see it reposessed the next morning.
