AUDIO Kanye West’s 911 call released

Kanye West 911 call

Last week, Kanye West’s doctor Dr. Michael Farzam, placed a call to 911 to report a medical emergency regarding the rapper.

Details were sketchy as to the exact reason Kanye was taken by an ambulance and admitted to UCLA Medical Center. Reports speculated a wide range of ailments from major exhaustion to severe depression.

In a newly released audio of the 911 call placed by Dr. Farzam, we are gaining a better insight into the dire situation.

Dr. Farzam requested police assistance in addition to the paramedics. He told the 911 operator that Kanye will “definitely need to be hospitalized.”

The operator asked what medical condition Kanye was suffering from but the answer was edited out of the audio. Based on the situation, the operator then advised the doctor, “Don’t let [Kanye] get any weapons or anything like that.”

Here’s the audio obtained by TMZ:

It was determined Kanye experienced a “nervous breakdown” which people close to the rapper say was “triggered in large part by the anniversary of his mother’s funeral.”

Kanye is now with Kim and under the care of Dr. Farzam.
