POLICE REPORT Moore Manor vandalized, Kenya believes it was Matt Jordan

The Real Houses of Atlanta

A newly uncovered police report reveals that one of The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s break out stars was the victim of domestic violence in August of this year. That break out star is none other Moore Manor, the home belonging to Kenya Moore, which was reportedly vandalized by Kenya’s on-again, off-again beau Matt Jordan!

The police report, obtained by Radar Online, was filed on August 16 by the Sandy Springs Police Department. According to the report, Kenya was in California at the time and her cousin Che accompanied a police officer on the property to assess the damage.

The officer observed that three glass panels of the center garage door had been shattered, as had the rear window of a 2016 Land Rover parked in the garage. While walking around the house, the officer noticed another shattered glass door on the side of the garage as well as an opaque substance that had been sprayed on a number of the security cameras.

“Four of the cameras had obviously been spray painted with a black substance,” the officer wrote. “A ladder was still propped against the residence under two of the lower cameras that had been spray painted with obvious overspray on the side of the wall. Kenya said that the suspect is seen on the cameras before spray painting occurred. She also said there are interior cameras that captured the suspect, and confirmed entry was not made into the residence. No alarm had been triggered either.”

Kenya was on the phone with the officer on the scene and she said she believed that the perpetrator to be been Matt Jordan. “Jordan is an ex-boyfriend, they had been together for about a year and had broken up in the past week,” reported the officer. “Kenya believed the vandalism was related to the break-up. She also said she received messages from him telling her not to call the police, and that she’ll ‘regret it’. I asked her if she had been responding to those messages, she said only to tell him to leave her alone.”

Kenya Moore Matt Jordan

Towards the end of the report the officer says Kenya inquired about obtaining a restraining order against Matt and the officer directed her to Fulton County Courts.

The moral of this story appears to be that people who live in glass houses shouldn’t date Matt Jordan. #ZING

Neither Kenya nor Matt have responded on social media to the police report being made public, although Matt did post a video on Instagram announcing a new “Truth In The Truck” series in which he will answer fan questions while sitting in his truck. So, if you want to know more, just give Matt a shout — he included his email address in the clip description:

Here is the complete narrative from the police report:

On 08/16/2016 at approximately 8:24atn, I was dispatched to a property damage call at ** ******** Rd, Sandy Springs, GA. 30327. Chatcomm advised the call was in reference to broken windows and the suspect was possibly known. The caller was not on scene but another subject would meet with police.

Upon arrival I met with the caller’s cousin, Che Moore. There was obvious damage to the middle (of three) glass garage door. Three of the glass panels had been shattered. A vehicle (2016 Land Rover Range Rover, White, GA TAG: *******) was parked on the other side of the glass garage door that was damaged. Through one of the broken glass panels, the rear window of the vehicle had been shattered. There was glass lying on the ground inside and outside the garage. Che called her cousin, the homeowner, Kenya Moore. Kenya was currently in California and was reporting the incident with Che present.

Che and I walked the perimeter of the residence to locate any further damage. The residence was currently being renovated. We observed a shattered glass door that leads into the side of the garage on the rear of the house. There were cameras on multiple corners of the residence. Kenya advised she could not see out of some of the cameras. Four of the cameras had obviously been spray painted with a black substance. A ladder was still propped against the residence under two of the lower cameras that had been spray painted with obvious overspray on the side of the wall. Kenya said that the suspect is seen on the cameras before spray painting occurred. She also said there are interior cameras that captured the suspect, and confirmed entry was not made into the residence. No alarm had been triggered either. I took photos of the damage and later packaged/submitted them to property and evidence, locker #1.

I asked Kenya about the suspect, she believed it was Matthew Jordan. Jordan is an ex-boyfriend, they had been together for about a year and had broken up in the past week. Kenya believed the vandalism was related to the break-up. She also said she received messages from him telling her not to call the police, and that she’ll “regret it”. I asked her if she had been responding to those messages, she said only to tell him to leave her alone. Kenya provided Jordan’s name, DOB, phone number, and address.

Che and Kenya were provided with the referencing case number. Che was able to open one of the garage doors. I looked for items used to break the glass but did not find anything apparent. Kenya said the video is on a DVR at her residence. I told her to try to obtain it as soon as possible and call police back when it can be submitted. She also asked about obtaining a restraining order and was directed to Fulton CO Courts.
