Chrisley Knows Best star Savannah Chrisley knew it was best to keep her chin up, even if she didn’t come out on top in the 2016 Miss Teen USA pageant.

The 18-year-old, who represented the great state of Tennessee, came up short of making the top five after reaching the final fifteen. Just ahead of the big competition, held in Las Vegas over the weekend, Savannah wrote about her anxieties. “Tomorrow the competition officially starts,” she began. “No matter what the outcome is…I have been extremely blessed with great new friendships and I will never stop trying to make a difference in this world.”

After missing the finals, the reality TV star shared a sweet pic of herself embracing Miss Nevada, Chrissa Morrow. “And this is a friendship that will last a lifetime…I may have not have taken home the crown but I sure did take home one heck of a friend!! @carissalynnmorrow (photo when we both made top 15),” she captioned the photo.

And of course the Chrisley clan was in full support of Savannah on social media. “So proud of our girl @_ItsSavannah_ , do your best & God has the rest , u are already a winner to us @MissTeenUSA,” family patriarch Todd Chrisley tweeted.

Her sister Lindsie Chrisley followed suit, “Good luck this weekend @_ItsSavannah_ you are already the winner in our hearts! I love you so much! ❤️???.”

The eventual winner, Miss Texas Teen Karlie Hay, is caught up in a controversy after it was revealed that she used racial slurs in a number of social media posts.
