Rory Gilmore is a mom!
Actress Alexis Bledel and husband, actor Vincent Kartheiser (Mad Men), welcomed a baby boy last fall.
Bledel managed to keep her parenthood private until Gilmore costar Scott Patterson let the cat out of the bag in an interview via Glamour magazine.
Patterson said:
“She’s really blossomed as a woman and now she’s a proud new mother and married and happy. She’s just the most likable, intelligent person and adorable human being. She hasn’t changed at all. She looks the same. We’re comparing notes because my son [born July 2014] is about a year and a half older than her young son. I’m showing her photos and videos and what to expect. We’re just really enjoying each other’s company.”
Kartheiser and Bledel, who met on the set of Mad Men, have kept their relationship mostly out of the spotlight. The pair got engaged in March 2013 and wed in a private ceremony in June 2014.
I wonder if Bledel will wake her son up every year on the same day to tell him the story of his birth?
