Kylie Jenner and Scott Disick have been spending a lot of time together in the wake of Kylie’s high-profile split with Tyga–and, if reports are to be believed, that time has been getting top-heavy with snuggles and intimate behavior. Kylie and Tyga called it quits just a few days ago; while the news was unexpected, it hardly shocked Kylie’s legions of fans. Tyga has been accused of cheating on Kylie numerous times over the past calendar year, and, according to a source close to Kylie, the 18-year-old Jenner was simply “tired of his lies.”
At the same time, Kylie and Scott have always been close. Because of that imtimacy and the extent to which Scott reportedly trusts Kylie, the Kardashian family has reportedly used her for some light espionage regarding Scott in the past. It was only a few months ago when Kylie was dispatched to “spy on Scott,” then at the height of his reported binge drinking and drug use, and see if the rumors swirling around him were true.
Currently, Kylie Jenner and Scott Disick have been spotted snuggled up to each other twice in two days, each time more close-quartered than the last. People spotted them “hanging out” in the immediate aftermath of the Tyga breakup; according to an eyewitness, Kylie was “in a pretty good mood,” and often had her head on Scott’s shoulder. The pair kept it “pretty low-key,” hanging at a table together until Blac Chyna stopped by, at which point the three headed to an afterparty.
The second hangout was a bit more public, as Scott let his fans know:
In addition, a Hollywood Life article on the above soiree featured a bevy of quotes that had both Kylie and Scott’s fans raising their eyebrows. The quotes, from a source close to Scott, painted the picture of a very worried, very loving former brother-in-law: Kylie’s been “crying on Scott’s shoulder,” said that source, and Scott is “so protective of her” that he “dotes on Kylie and will always be there for her.
“Sometimes relationships run the course of time,” Disick told the teenager, and reminded her that he “will always be there for her,” even though Scott plans to remain friends with Tyga.
“Irregardless,” the insider added.
Also worth mentioning: the Hollywood Life article features a full-length version of the photo Scott shared on Instagram above; in that photo, he’s clutching a beer bottle.
