Botched human Ken doll Rodrigo Alves’ nose is rotting off after 43rd procedure

Botched Human Ken Doll Rodrigo Alves nose

Brazilian flight attendant Rodrigo Alves has famously spent an estimated $440,000 on more than 40 plastic surgery procedures, leading to multiple appearances on the E! reality series Botched and earning him a spot on the ever-growing list of aspiring “human Ken dolls.” But, much like Michael Jackson, Rodrigo is apparently learning that there are limits to what the human face can endure as his most recent procedure has caused an infection that has eaten a hole in his nose!

“I had nose reconstruction three months ago and it appears the new cartilage has been rejected by my body,” Rodrigo told The Daily Mail last week. “A horrible hole has appeared in my nostril and the infection is eating my nose and I’ve been warned if it is not stopped it could eat into my face.”

Once I was asked what I wanted to be in my life.. And my answer was " I want to be happy" that is all … Happiness is to be in peace with your body, mind and soul .. My happiness isn't on my expensive look or on my expensive and luxurious life style ….my happiness is when I look at my self and realise that I m actually the fruit of my imagination and I m everything that I have always wanted to be visually, emotionally and spiritually it has being a long way and it has been easy.. It is when I look at your eyes and you say I love you and you say that you love me too… #beyourself #beoriginal #loveyourself #loveoneanother #respect #beunique #beafighter #bestrong if you don't like it just change it your life is at your hands to be anything that you want to be #dreams and #believe that #youcan ! ❤️

The term for what is happening to Rodrigo’s nose is necrosis, which is when flesh dies due to a loss of blood circulation — a known risk with plastic surgery procedures such as rhinoplasty. In addition to dead flesh, necrosis can also lead to other serious medical issues like blood poisoning and gangrene.

Rodrigo is very active on social media and has been updating his fans via Instagram. From last week:

I won’t let a stupid bacteria letting me down it can ruin my nose but it won’t ruin my life and confidence. I just would like to let you all know that I m good now apart from having a botched nose. Now I shall start my research from 0 again to find a plastic surgeon who knows how to do a nose reconstruction using my own cartilage. Even if now I have to go to Mars or Jupiter but only the very best will touch me or nothing! Thank you everyone for your lovely messages today! Much love ❤️✌?️ #chinup #botched #plasticpositive #coverboy #rodrigoalves

Yesterday, Rodrigo shared news that his treatment went well:

The good news is that my health is good! No bacteria eating the insides of my nose anymore. The bad news is that now I have been left #botched and I m starting my research for a reconstructive #rinoplasty I shall be visiting doctor’s on the following days here in Spain, London, Athens, Los Angeles, Moscow, Berlin for consultations and hopefully I will find a solution and get my confidence back. Pray for ME everyone ??.

And here is a video clip from Rodrigo’s first appearance on Botched in which he says he aspires to be a real life Peter Pan and hopes that Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif will help him in his quest with a nose job:

As you probably guessed, Terry and Paul would eventually turn Rodrigo away. They would, however, invite Rodrigo back as a consultant in Season 2. “It’s not gratuitous at all,” Terry told People about inviting Rodrigo back. “He’s extremely helpful.”
