After the Sister Wives catfish cheating scandal was revealed last year, viewers were anxious to see how the affair would be received within the Brown family. In the final episode last season, we were left with a major cliffhanger, when Meri came clean about her struggles within her marriage.
In the trailer for the upcoming 7th season, we begin to see relationships unravel as Meri sits down with Kody and her sister wives to discuss the aftermath of her emotional online affair.
Kody admits, “Meri and I have struggled, for a very long time,” while Meri confesses, “There were times I was angry at you, Kody. I’m not going to lie. I was angry at you.”
We also get a chance to see Maddie, after her big engagement to fiancé Caleb Brush, and Robyn give birth to Ariella Mae.
The biggest revelation from the preview clip is the tension between Mariah and Meri. When we catch up with Mariah, she explains, “My mom and I aren’t on super great terms right now.”
Even though we don’t know why the two aren’t getting along, it’s safe to assume the wedge in their relationship is due to Meri’s affair.
